Chainlink became the daily growth leader in the market. The LINK token increased by 13.6% in a day, outperforming most altcoins, while institutional investor purchase volumes reached their highest in recent months.
Large investors are actively buying LINK
According to Lookonchain, since October 11, 30 new wallets have been created, from which 6.26 million LINK — about $116.7 million at the current rate — have been withdrawn. This dynamic indicates an active accumulation phase by large holders.
The surge in interest coincided with the start of the crypto market recovery after a sharp decline caused by overheated futures positions. The CoinDesk 20 (CD20) index, which reflects the overall market trend, gained 4.2% in a day.
Chainlink goes beyond data orchestration
The third quarterly report from Chainlink Labs confirmed that the project is actively expanding partnerships and strengthening infrastructure for real-world assets (RWA). The document highlights key collaborations:
- with the interbank messaging system Swift
- the American clearing corporation DTCC
- the European counterpart Euroclear
- and a pilot project with the US Department of Commerce aimed at integrating government data into the blockchain
These steps reinforce Chainlink’s strategy to transition from a decentralized oracle provider to an infrastructure layer for tokenizing real-world assets.
Dominance in the oracle sector
According to DeFiLlama, Chainlink still maintains leadership in the industry with $62 billion in total value secured (TVS) — that’s 62% of the entire market. For comparison, the nearest competitor, Chronicle, controls only about $10 billion TVS.
Analysts note that such a high share indicates the maturity and technical superiority of the Chainlink ecosystem. The network ensures the stable operation of smart contracts in numerous projects, including DeFi, stablecoins, and asset tokenization platforms.
What is behind LINK’s growth
The current rise in LINK is attributed to several factors at once:
- renewed interest from institutional investors
- a positive backdrop from the Chainlink Labs report
- and an overall improvement in market sentiment after the correction
“Whales are not just buying the token — they are voting for trust in the network’s future,” analysts at Lookonchain note.
In addition, the development of RWA directions and corporate oracles opens up the possibility for Chainlink to become a central link in Web3 infrastructure — an analogue of ‘data as a service’ in the decentralized economy.
What’s next?
If the current pace of accumulation continues, LINK may consolidate above $15 and become a growth leader among the top 20 crypto assets. Major integrations with financial institutions and government agencies strengthen the project’s perception as the main bridge between traditional finance and blockchain.
For investors, this is a signal that Chainlink has already moved from the category of DeFi tools to the infrastructure layer of the new digital economy.
