Securitize Announces NYSE Listing Date

Securitize, which develops infrastructure for asset tokenization, plans to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on July 2. The company will debut under the ticker SECZ.

The listing became possible after the approval of a merger deal with the SPAC structure Cantor Equity Partners II. Through this deal, Securitize raised about $400 million. Less than 30% of SPAC shareholders exercised their right to redeem their shares, so the company retained a significant portion of the expected funding.

Securitize is considered one of the largest providers of tokenization solutions. Among its key projects is the tokenized money market fund BUIDL from BlackRock, which has surpassed $3 billion in volume. The company also works with Apollo, KKR, Hamilton Lane, and VanEck.

This is an important signal for the market: tokenization is increasingly moving beyond the crypto industry and intersecting with traditional finance. In this model, the same asset in accounting can receive a digital representation, and its circulation becomes closer to the familiar stock market infrastructure, where shares have long been a basic tool for raising capital.

Bitmine Increases Ethereum Reserves to 5.7 Million ETH

Bitmine Immersion Technologies purchased more than 27,000 Ethereum last week. After this purchase, its reserves exceeded 5.7 million ETH.

The company spent $43 million on the deal, with an average purchase price of $1,569 per coin. Bitmine now controls 4.7% of the total Ethereum supply and is approaching its own goal of accumulating 5% of ETH issuance.

Bitmine remains the largest public corporate holder of Ethereum. Last week, the company also joined the Russell 1000 index, which tracks the thousand largest U.S. companies.

The growth of corporate ETH reserves increases interest in digital assets as part of treasury strategy. At the same time, clear procedures for accounting, storage, and settlements remain important for companies: buying cryptocurrency differs from a standard bank transaction, and price volatility in U.S. dollar terms directly affects financial results.

SEC Wins Court Case Against NanoBit Limited

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission won a fraud case against the crypto platform NanoBit Limited. The regulator claimed that in 2023-2024, platform operators stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from at least 18 investors.

According to the SEC, the scheme’s participants posed as financial advisors in WhatsApp groups and convinced people to transfer funds to a fake trading platform. The court found violations of securities laws and ordered the defendants to pay about $5.4 million.

NanoBit itself was fined nearly $1.8 million. Its affiliated structures must each pay another $1.18 million.

Investors were shown a fake personal account with supposedly growing returns. When users tried to withdraw funds, they were charged large commissions or simply removed from chats. Against the backdrop of such cases, major platforms and services, including Binance, constantly emphasize the importance of verifying counterparties and being cautious about promises of guaranteed profits.

How to Read the Crypto Market Overview: A Quick Guide

Cryptocurrency is a digital asset protected by cryptography. Transactions are usually recorded on a blockchain: a distributed ledger maintained by network participants, not a single central operator. Different consensus mechanisms, including mining and staking, are responsible for confirming transactions.

The price of a cryptocurrency is formed on exchanges through supply and demand. It is influenced by liquidity, news, regulatory decisions, overall risk appetite, and the actions of major holders. Market capitalization is calculated simply: the current coin price multiplied by the number of coins in circulation.

Current prices, charts, and news are conveniently tracked through CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, TradingView, major exchanges, and news services. For a quick market check, it is better to compare several sources, especially when volatility is high.

  • Bitcoin is the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, often seen as the market’s main benchmark.
  • Altcoins are all cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin; these include Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, and other assets.
  • Stablecoins are tokens whose price is usually pegged to a fiat currency or another asset.
  • Tokens are digital assets that can provide access to a service, project management, or be used for settlements within an ecosystem.

When buying and storing cryptocurrency, basic security rules are important: choose trusted platforms, enable two-factor authentication, carefully check the wallet address, and do not trust promises of guaranteed profits. Exchanges are convenient for quick transactions, hot wallets are suitable for active use, and cold wallets are more often chosen for long-term storage.

Earning without investment is usually sought through airdrops, bounty programs, testnets, and crypto faucets. These methods can bring small rewards but require time and careful checking of conditions, as fraudulent schemes are often disguised as free giveaways.

Earning $100 a day on cryptocurrency should not be seen as a guaranteed goal: results depend on capital, strategy, volatility, and willingness to take risks. The prospects of coins are usually assessed by liquidity, network demand, team, tokenomics, regulatory background, and real-world use. Short-term market declines are more often associated with worsening sentiment, reduced liquidity, regulatory news, and profit-taking, while statements by politicians, including Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, are usually seen by investors as part of the overall regulatory context.

Earlier, Vitalik Buterin called obfuscation one of the most powerful tools in cryptography. On June 30, the main topics in the market were institutional tokenization, accumulation of Ethereum by public companies, and another SEC case against crypto fraudsters.
