Today Meteora held an airdrop of the MET token, but instead of joy, the community erupted in anger: three wallets linked to the meme coin TRUMP received a total of $4.2 million and immediately dumped everything on the OKX exchange.
Against the backdrop of a recent lawsuit against the project and the pardon of CZ by Trump, the actions of Meteora look like a potential attempt to exert influence or demonstrate loyalty. In the crypto community, accusations of corruption are becoming more frequent, but outrage is increasingly being replaced by apathy.
It seems that in the context of close ties to those in power, any actions become permissible—even those that were previously considered unacceptable.
TRUMP Insiders Profit Again
It was a hot morning for Meteora: on one hand, the long-awaited MET token airdrop began. On the other hand, a class action lawsuit was filed against the founder for fraud related to the MELANIA and LIBRA tokens.
But that’s not all. On-chain analysts uncovered a third, even more scandalous detail: the largest recipients of MET were wallets linked to the TRUMP meme coin.
We’re talking about three addresses: one belongs to the original developer, and the other two provided liquidity on the first day. All three received $4.2 million in tokens and immediately dumped everything on OKX. This is a direct signal of distrust in the project and a desire to cash out as quickly as possible.

The Meteora airdrop caused not just confusion but outright outrage in the community. But for many, this has already become something routine.
Today we received yet another clear confirmation that the president is able to solve the legal problems of his supporters. CZ received an official pardon, amid a week of rumors about his close business ties with the Trump family.
Now it becomes clear that all those predictions and “conspiracy theories” about a possible deal were not so far from the truth.
On the Day of the Lawsuit, Meteora Sent Millions to TRUMP Insiders
The tokenomics of the Meteora airdrop had already raised questions, but the multi-million “gift” to wallets linked to TRUMP was a real shock for many. Especially against the backdrop of possible legal pressure.
A class action lawsuit had already been filed against Meteora because of the LIBRA token. The previous case quickly fizzled out, and according to unconfirmed reports, one of the plaintiffs soon after participated in an early purchase of another token. Now a new lawsuit has been filed, this time by another law firm, and it likely has better prospects.
If Trump somehow intervenes in this case as well, the effect could be decisive. Civil lawsuits are much easier to hush up than criminal ones, and the current president, it seems, has launched a real war against crypto regulation in the US.

Of course, all this could be a coincidence. Sure, it’s just that Meteora transferred millions into the hands of TRUMP insiders on the same day a new lawsuit was brewing, and Trump at the same time pardoned his business partner CZ.
And all this might seem like a coincidence if it didn’t look so suspicious. For part of the community, this is yet another confirmation that proximity to power gives actual impunity.
