The DEX platform Jupiter is going beyond regular exchanges and launching its first prediction market. The new project is implemented together with Kalshi — an American service that operates legally and has already made a name for itself in the local market.
The beta version is already live. For Jupiter this is a logical upgrade, as demand for decentralized predictions is growing. Now, the platform allows not only trading but also betting on real-world events.
Jupiter launches prediction market powered by Kalshi
On October 22, the Jupiter team, one of the largest DEX projects in the Solana ecosystem, introduced a new prediction market. The launch was in partnership with Kalshi — an American platform that operates under federal standards.
This is not just an additional feature. For Jupiter — it’s a step towards event markets where speed, transparency, and real value for the community matter. Kalshi handles event verification and outcome checking, while trading and payouts are managed via Jupiter smart contracts directly on Solana.
Users will be able to log in using familiar wallets like Phantom, and trades will be processed through the updated liquidity aggregator V6.
Formula 1 betting now on Solana
The first event for the new market is the Mexican Grand Prix of Formula 1, which will take place on October 27 at the ‘Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez’ in Mexico City.
Favorites include Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc. Users can bet on the race winner using simple binary contracts: either the driver wins, or not.
Contracts are sold at prices from $0.01 to $0.99. The price reflects the market’s view of the driver’s chances of winning. For example, if a share for Verstappen costs $0.65 — it means the market estimates his chance of winning at 65%.
Trading has already started and will remain open until the race begins. There are no position volume limits — everything depends on available liquidity.

One of the features of the new market is the low entry threshold. This makes the product attractive not only for experienced DeFi users but also for regular Formula 1 fans.
The outcome of the race will be verified by Kalshi — its API will confirm the official result, after which smart contracts will automatically distribute payouts.
Kalshi has long been a top player in the US prediction market. Recently, the team raised $300 million in a Series D round, and now Kalshi is valued at $5 billion. Among the investors are Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Paradigm and even Coinbase Ventures.
Jupiter meanwhile continues to strengthen its position in the Solana ecosystem. Currently, the platform ranks second in total value locked (TVL) — over $3.76 billion, second only to Kamino. The growth in TVL is largely due to the launch of Jupiter Lend — its own lending platform.
