Crypto.com will co-host a UFC tournament, which will take place on June 14 right on the grounds of the White House. The event is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the USA and, according to the organizers, will have the largest bonus pool for fighters in the history of the sport.
The exchange will allocate $1 million for participants of the UFC Freedom 250 card. Payouts will be made in CRO tokens. At the current price above $0.068 the total pool is about 14.6 million CRO.
UFC President Dana White called the event unprecedented:
“This is the most historic sporting event ever, and on this night every fight could be the fight of the night. Crypto.com is giving fighters the biggest bonus in UFC history — $1 million is at stake. The whole world will be watching on June 14.”
The main event will feature lightweight champion Ilia Topuria and interim champion Justin Gaethje. Also on the card is Alex Pereira, who will try to win his third UFC title in a bout against Cyril Gane.
The tournament will be broadcast on Paramount+ in the US. The event itself coincides with the 10th anniversary of Crypto.com.
Co-founder and Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek noted that the company sees this event as an important milestone:
“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Crypto.com’s 10th anniversary than to make history at the White House. We are honored to once again join forces with our longtime partners at UFC and co-host Freedom 250 — an event that goes beyond sports.”
The partnership between Crypto.com and UFC began back in 2021, when the exchange became the first official outfitting partner for fighters. Since then, the companies have worked together several times, including on the release of digital UFC collectibles in NFT format on the Crypto.com platform.
UFC itself also has a partnership with the blockchain project VeChain, and there is also a licensed token FIGHT, which operates on the Solana and BNB Chain networks.
In addition, UFC signed an exclusive agreement with the prediction platform Polymarket. Recently, there was an interesting case: one trader turned a $500 bet into $252,000 by noticing a mistake in the fight result announcement during the broadcast.

Crypto.com is also actively working with projects related to Donald Trump. The company is partnering with Trump Media & Technology Group, developing crypto ETFs and integrating CRO into Truth Social and Truth+ services.
In addition, the parties launched a treasury structure focused on accumulating CRO, as well as promoting the prediction markets direction.
