Федеральная таможенная служба РФ сообщила о пресечении незаконного ввоза четырех майнинг-устройств из Монголии. В ведомстве пояснили, что контрабандиста задержали алтайские таможенники.
ASIC-майнеры пытался провезти гражданин Монгольской Народной Республики. В ходе проверки на пограничном пункте Ташанта среди вещей иностранца были обнаружены четыре устройства с вентиляторами и подключенными микросхемами.
Задержанный не предоставил никаких документов на обнаруженное оборудование. В заявлении пресс-центра ФТС отмечается, что таможенники сразу распознали в этих предметах устройства для добычи цифровых валют.
В отношении контрабандиста возбуждено административное дело о недекларировании товаров и несоблюдении законов и прочих ограничений. Было принято решение изъять оборудования, добавили в ФТС.
Аналогичный случай произошел в середине сентября на Украине. В международном аэропорту «Борисполь» был задержан гражданин Китая, пытавшийся завести на территорию страны устройство для добычи криптовалют.
